Okay, there isn’t really much more to say about this Casio G-Shock DW5600 NASA apart from the fact that it is a special edition watch that pays homage to NASA. It is the standard DW5600, all in white, with the NASA logo on the dial and the globe engraved on the back. However, I think the combination is just fantastic.
The full white colour scheme and the words ‘National Aeronautics and Space Administration’ printed on the band just work together so well to evoke images of a pure and pristine astronaut suit. The best part about this watch is that over time, you’ll get dirt and scuffs on the watch which will then resemble an astronaut suit that has been used. And every time you look down at the watch, you will be reminded of all the adventures that you’ve been through, and perhaps even all the adventures yet to come.
Oh, and when you turn on the backlight, there is an awesome relief of a globe.
We don’t know if this Casio G-Shock DW5600 NASA will be coming to Malaysia but if you can find it online, it has a suggested retail price of USD 130.
